Terms and Conditions:

These Terms and Conditions for the Return of Goods and Warranty Claims set out by ELRA Antriebstechnik Vertriebs GesmbH (hereinafter referred to as ELRA) are an integral part of ELRA’s Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery. They either refer to relevant sections thereof or supplement the same.

The following has been agreed upon between ELRA and the customer:

  1. Scope: These Terms and Conditions apply to all cases referring to warranty claims or repairs. Customers’ conflicting terms of sale cannot be acknowledged.
  2. Conclusion of Contract: Once the customer returns the RMA Form and ELRA issues an RMA Number, the Terms and Conditions of this Contract shall be understood as having been accepted and concluded.
  3. Shipments without ELRA’s RMA Number will not be processed by ELRA and shall be returned to the customer. The RMA Number must be duly stated on the Delivery Note and a copy of the submitted RMA Form must also be attached.
  4. Any goods requiring inspection or repairs shall be sent to ELRA at the sole expense of the sender. In case of a justified warranty claim, ELRA will reimburse these costs.
  5. Repairs (not covered by warranty) with a net product value below EUR 150 cannot be carried out economically as both handling and material costs by far exceed this value. As such repairs cannot be accepted, ELRA will recommend a suitable alternative solution.
  6. If a repair can no longer be carried out due to the unavailability of original parts on part of the manufacturer, ELRA will try its utmost to recommend an alternative solution.
  7. In case of an unjustified warranty claim, where the defect or fault claimed by the customer cannot be proven and the product is functioning properly, ELRA shall charge a net handling fee in the amount of EUR 80 per repair thus claimed, resp. shall charge the costs incurred.
  8. Should the customer request a quotation, ELRA shall charge a net quotation fee in the amount of EUR 80. This fee shall not be charged for if repairs are being carried out or a new corresponding product is being ordered. The quoted amount may be exceeded if further faults or errors needing repair are detected whilst said repairs are being carried out.
  9. The customer shall receive a brief report about the repairs having been carried out, and, if apparent, about the possible reasons for the fault or error having occurred. In case of a warranty claim, the customer shall receive a brief statement about the possible cause of the fault or error having occurred, if apparent.
  10. A detailed fault analysis shall only be provided upon the customer’s specific request. The actual costs incurred for drawing up such detailed fault analysis shall be charged to the customer.
  11. A net cost of EUR 80 per working hour shall be charged for all repair work.
  12. The warranty period for parts exchanged during the repairs is 12 months. The warranty period from the original delivery applies to those parts that are/have already been in use.
  13. Warranty claims shall be handled and processed in accordance with chapter VIII of ELRA’s Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery.
  14. Payment Conditions: Payments shall be made as agreed upon between ELRA and the customers.
